he compact AP5001A RF Analog Signal Generator from Keysight generates precise signals in the RF range and is characterized by its versatility in the characterization of devices. The model offers a frequency range from 9 kHz up to a choice of 2, 4 or 6.1 GHz, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in the radio frequency range. The output power level ranges from -30 to +17 dBm, but can be extended to -120 to +17 dBm with the AP5001A-1E1 option.Particularly noteworthy are the phase noise values at 1 GHz, which are -128 dBc/Hz (typically -130 dBc/Hz) and therefore guarantee very pure signals.The device also has various modulation options, including AM, FM, PM, pulse modulation and frequency chirps.
