Selection and integration considerations

  • There is no integrated TEC control; assess how ambient temperature affects response, baseline and calibration.
  • This is a solderable PCB module. Follow the manufacturer drawing for soldering, mounting and optical alignment; it is not an enclosed instrument.
  • Provide a differential receiver and acquisition circuitry; confirm supply, loading and optical power against the datasheet.

From module to measurement system

  1. Source / measurement target
  2. Filters and optical coupling
  3. IR detection module
  4. Differential receiver / ADC
  5. Signal processing and calibration

The module provides part of the sensing and analogue chain. A complete measurement also needs optics, power, readout and calibration.
